Now the other issue I just wanted to briefly mention to you was about Islam…Islamists…radical islam… Under the constitution we have many provisions that keep this nation from supporting and protecting extreme views. Amongst them would be Sharia Law, aspects of Sharia Law, that would be unconstitutional. The Latter Day Saints Church, during the time of applying to become a state, had to set aside some of the views that were considered constitutionally to be in the extreme category. In the same way Muslims who want to live in this nation under constitutional law will have to set aside some of their extreme views that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment under our constitutional law.
